Things you should Know about 2025 IJMB Runz and Some questions and answers
WHAT IS IJMB EXAM
The IJMB examination is primarily for Advanced Level subjects for Direct Entry into 200 level in the Universities. The syllabus for the IJMB Examination is compiled in line with international standard educational requirements and admission requirements of various Universities, Nigeria and overseas. Its a 9-12 month programme that will get you into 200L upon successful completion to your preferred universities and course nationwide. In IJMB programme you are to undergo only a combination of 3 subjects that will suit the course of your choice.
HOW DO I QUALIFY AND REGISTER FOR IJMB EXAM
IJMB requirements and primary entry qualification is your ordinary level result. Before anyone can apply for IJMB, such must have completed his/her secondary school education….

Four (8) Passport Photographs.
Birth Certificate.
Certificate of State of origin (Optional)

For a student that registers for (3) Subjects with grade such as Physics (A); Chemistry (B); then Biology (C), the total number of points scored is calculated as follows;
NOTE: A bonus point is awarded to the point scored by every candidate provided he or she do not score (F) in any of the subject offered during the programme.
Therefore a student with the grades above can boasts of 13 points in his/her IJMB examination which is enough to study any course of his/her choice university.
Furthermore, many universities have stipulated a minimum of passes (i.e. grades E) in two(2) subjects among the three(3) subjects one offer.
You will realize that general performance in the examination rather suggests these universities admit students with higher grades.
Hence, it is of utmost importance that students concentrate their efforts to secure sufficient scores for better chances.
